Hi Zacpac,

Marianne sent out a prayer request tonight, due to a suspicious ship that came up behind Zac, and was not responding to radio contact.

They contacted authorities in Australia, and are hoping for a fly over. The ship has since pulled away, but lets hope it has left Zac's area and doesn't return.

This is not always about the journey, but also more importantly, about parents who care about the safety of their son who is far from their reach.

Please do as suggested and pray extra hard for Zacs safety. Pray everyday for him as your responsibility. We are his support, and God will listen to us.

Best regards,
Peter

I noticed on Zac's weather page, his location "isn't reveilled for safety reasons"
That tells me Zac doesn't want someone to be able to find him,I'm thinking pirates or other "no-good-nicks"
...Say it ain't so!
Am I way off base?

You've got my prayers. I personally don't know a whole lot about Zac, but the little I do know, I can honestly say, if I was headed into dangerous waters, there is no one else on earth that I'd rather have along side. Whether it be pirates or a hurricane, there is no doubt he will come through unscathed.

I have been following Zac's journey, not out of any knowledge of sailing and not knowing the family, but just because I saw an TV story about Zac awhile back, where his Mom & Dad were being interviewed, and it was then that I became extremely interested in this young boy's accomplishments and this one huge goal.
Soooo, being a MOM, this journey has been watched closely so I too will pray, as others, that Zac remains out of harm's way.
God Bless You & your family Zac!

Since the situation looks very serious - they have other things to do than writing blogs. I am sure - we will hear about it when they solved the problem and have time to write about it.

Axel,

Yes, if the situation hasn't resolved itself satisfactorily, then Zac's parents have more to worry about than posting on this blog. However, the fact that nothing has been posted to that effect, leaves those of us following Zac'z exloits imagining the worst. It seems that having posted the concern, there is a need for keeping others who are concerned, as up to date as reasonably possible. There must be others connected with L. & M. who aren't directly involved in dealing with the situation, who could at least post that the situation hasn't changed, or seems to have resolved itself. I know I am trepidly checking the blog frequently, and will do so till we hear that all is ok. I imagine that there are a number of others doing the same.

Peter, you seem to be the only one who has posted here that has had any knowledge beyond the cryptic message posted last night... do you have any updates?

Thanks for the further information. I got distracted while composing my previous posting, and you must have posted during that time. Curious that the vessel doesn't show up on radar at that range. I think that we all have done all we can do 'from here.' I don't think any self respecting pirates would hurt Zac; and I'm sure they have heard of him. If they follow this blog, they know they won't even get fresh fish on board! And I doubt they have much use for a skateboard or a few cans of spam. There are the truly 'evil' however; and what they will see on board the Intrepid will make them turn tail and run; for Zac is not alone in spirit.

The moderation option has been turned off. Am taking this to mean that bad/unnecesary comments have ceased. Just a reminder, Lady & Lord Sunderland do review our posts. If things get outta hand again, Team Sunderland will turn it back on.

Mr Peter, Mr Axel & Mr DavidH (& Skipper of course) -
I anjoy all y'all's posts. You have valuable information to share & have shared much in the past. Thank you. :)

We are all concerned about Capt Zac's safety. I'm quite sure when Team Sunderland has new news, we'll be told.

My gut tells me he is well, if a bit un-nerved. Didn't Lord Laurence in the past admonish Capt Zac not to get complacent? Sounds a fitting reminder now.

Until then, "when two or more are gathered in prayer...."

Be safe Capt & don't forget the anti-malarials. I pray for comfort to Team Sunderland & the rest of us in the ZacPac.

As the saying goes - no news is good news.

That sounds... not good. Pirates? or is that way off? Whatever it is, I pray God will bring you through it okay. Having a flare gun or a flashlight under your pillow sounds like a good plan.
Stay safe; we're all praying for you.

Hang in there. Everyone's praying for you. You can even ask someone to say prayers for me at the Western Wall (Kotel). It's really powerful.
