Hey, Zac - Saw you and your family on tonight's news coverage of Abby's departure. Of course, wishing her well.

Your schooling seems a full plate for you as you approach graduation. Seems it must be difficult for all the extra-curricular planning you have been doing. What an amazing young man!

Heard from your Mom earlier this month about trying to locate a poster for you to autograph for me. Really would have preferred that watercolor that was auctioned to me a year ago, but since that's not available, sorta crossing my fingers to get that poster.

Please tell Mom 'HI' from me. My best to the whole family.

Well she is on her way. I hope that she kicks her horse a little and rides hard south. The seasons will be chasing her all the way around now.
Intrepid looked good in the pictures. I bet that it was hard to turn her around and head back in.

Hi Zac! I've been meaning to get to your blog and read through it ever since first hearing of you around October when I heard about Jessica Watson's pending departure.
I'm not sure how I missed news of *your* departure and your return when they were in progress, but I did.
Hearing of your sister's departure reminded me that I'd still not caught up.
It sounds like you are quite the adventurer! Biking and mountain climbing?
I'm especially happy to hear you were able to get back into the normal course of things and return to school.
While following Jesse and Abby, I plan to read your archives as well. Hopefully I've got time for that much reading!
Take care,
Tracie

So, Zac,
How long did it take your little sister to leave you behind in the spray? I couldn't make out Intrepid from the shore.

I recall your departure, Zac. I'd been watching your blog before you left, and it was great to see that you'd anchored off Catalina to sort of 'catch your breath' so to speak. I know that things are very different now, with a different yacht, and a different direction, to say the least, but that does not at all diminish your accomplishment. I'm still in awe at what you did, and I cheer that you did it so much faster than Robin Lee Graham. Congratulations to you, and 'good on you' for being so supportive of your sister.

I've been following your sister and Jessica Watson on their voyage.

I'm interested in your preparations for your assault on Everest, so I'm subscribing to your blog and looking forward to reading about that.
