Cape Town Update

Abby entering Table Bay

The last few days in Cape Town have been good. Lots of work going on and - Wild Eyes will be in good shape in no time. The weather here is so different from when I was here last January. It's been raining off and on ever since I got here also the long summer nights have been replaced by stormy dark evenings.

The last couple days have been spent ripping everything off the boat that's not bolted down and taking it to a warehouse to dry out. We will be organizing all of it and putting it back on after all the major work is done. Scott managed to get the wind generators on and there was a bit of a blow this afternoon so we are able to test them and see that they are working nicely. The autopilot parts arrived and today has been a wiring day. Should be all up and going soon.

It's been awesome to see all the old friends here in good old Cape Town. I'm sure I'll end up moving here some day - a very chill atmosphere.

Good to see old Abner again!

Well the traffic in to Cape Town is crazy in the mornings and I've gotta be up at 6 to beat it so I'm gonna crash.

Cheers,

ZAC

Good to check out your blog again, Zac, and glad everything is going well in Cape Town. "Old Abner"... Only a big brother could get away with that! Have a safe trip home.

Blessings,
Marie, WA St.

Zac,

Thanks for posting new pictures from Cape Town and updating us. It helps us to feel almost like we're there and helps us to know how to pray for you and Abby better.

This is the only place I think think of to write this.

I just wanted to send my prayers that Abby is going to be OK.

I hope for the best, for Abby, and for you and your parents.

Zac, I know it is a difficult time for you and your family right now. "Abner" will get through this. I look forward to hearing soon that she was located, safe, and rescued. YOu are all in my prayers at this moment. Please say hello to your mom. I know this must be really hard on her. God bless you all.

Hey Zac, I just have to say, you're an excellent young man, with a whole lot of determination. You have an amazing family & support system, and it's people like you that keep the "dreamer" in me alive. KUDOS!!

XOXO - Alana
