Summer Days

A great day on the water - Malibu.
Summer is passing by quickly over here with finishing off the last tedious paperwork for my captain's license and getting Intrepid back to mint condition being the focus of most days. I have also been getting organized to go to all the fall boat shows and running around doing speeches and a few yacht deliveries.

The summer seems like it flew by. Intrepid is looking really good now so I've decided to start doing a few charters and sailing lessons on her. If you are interested you can contact me through the contact page on my web site at www.zacsunderland.com. Hopefully I'll get some people into sailing and the adventure that always follows. BTW, my web site is being updated and we should have the changes up in the next week or so.

Latitudes and Attitudes sailing magazine and web site has asked me to write for them monthly. Anybody have any favorite stories from my trip or other sailing adventures, let me know which one it is and if I've got some good pics of it I'll rewrite the experience and it will be in the mag.

Anyway, hope everyone is having an awesome summer.

Cheers,
Zac

What I remember most was when your boom broke and you limped your way to Rodriguez Island. And also when the rogue wave hit you when you were headed for Grenada (Saint George.

By the way, I have read Jessica Watson's book, Mike Perham's book, and started Abby's book. Is there going to be a book by Zac Sunderland? :-)

Namaste~~

Hi Zac, I loved it when you went through the Panama Canal. The Zacpac, from all over the world, watched and waited...it was soooo exciting to witness. We had the webcams working for us and remember when your dad wrote a banner/sign for your mum because it was their anniversary. That was one of the highlights for me.

Amazing Race!! My favorite show! I'm so glad you and your dad are on it. I'm excited to see how you do. I always thought you'd be perfect for AR. I know you and your dad can handle the physical and mental parts of the race. I sure hope you don't get messed up by a lame cab driver like a lot of others have! Staying tuned......
