Adventures in Travel Expo - New York

I arrived in NYC late Thursday night and have gotten settled here for a busy weekend. Early Friday were some PR interviews for the Expo with another young adventurer, Trip Jennings. I had a free day in the city before hooking up with the guy who is helping me write my book. We had a great (long) meeting and it was off to bed early as my early morning interviews came extra early here on the East Coast.

Today, I am off to the Expo (at the Javits Convention Center) to listen to other speakers and meet some of the amazing people there. I'll be meeting with Rob again tomorrow before speaking at 1:30 and then heading over to JFK for a long flight home.

If you are in the area, come by tomorrow at 1:30. I'll be talking about my trip with a slide show of photos. Should be good times.

Peace,
Zac

Sorry I wasn't able to make your presentation; however, my son did make it and said he talked with you on Saturday. His response was that you were AWSOME!!

Hi Zac! Your story is very inspiring. I was recommended to look you up by a member of our company, and would like to talk to you about speaking at our annual convention (Life Force International).

Please give me a call when you have a few minutes to talk.

Warmly,

Saludos para ti y todo tu familia

Any update on the DVD? Im hoping the delay is because your adding more great footage like your homecoming? I thought for sure i would end up in one of the pictures but nothing yet...i have shared all of my pictures with fellow Zacpacers and im sure you have seen tons to..if not, go on my face book to"Zac's back" in the photo section..and btw thanks for being the reason i met some new fb friends. Karyn is a sweetheart.. we stood next to each other at your homecoming..i wish we lived a little closer but as you know fb is a blast and a great way to keep in touch especially with an internet phone...it's so stinking addicting isn't it...just haven't gotten into farmville hahaha
Anyway, just wanted to come over here and keep your blog going..hope everything gets ironed out with the DVD and all your adventures and opportunities go well Zac!
See you on fb

Why did you choose to have your trip assisted rather than unassisted? I see that a 16 yr old girl is attempting to go around the world "unassisted" which will be quite an accomplishment. Could you have done it "unassisted" and do you wish you would have tried???
